Tessy Kids Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization established in 2022 that serves vulnerable children across Abuja and Benue State in Nigeria. We provide essential care items like clothing and diapers while also creating educational opportunities that help break the cycle of poverty. Our holistic approach addresses both immediate needs and long-term development, with over 500 children impacted since our founding.
What sets us apart is our dual-focus approach. While we provide immediate relief through essential care packages, we simultaneously invest in educational opportunities that create lasting change. We're locally founded and operated, with deep connections to the communities we serve. Our SCUML certification ensures financial accountability, and our small size allows us to remain nimble and responsive to children's changing needs.
We currently focus our efforts in Abuja and Benue State, Nigeria. We've identified these regions as areas with significant numbers of vulnerable children who lack access to basic necessities and educational opportunities. Our local presence allows us to build trusted relationships with communities and deliver services effectively where they're needed most.
Transparency is central to our operations. As a SCUML-certified organization, we adhere to strict financial accountability standards. 100% of donations go directly to our programs serving children, with detailed impact reports available to donors. We regularly share stories and statistics about the children we've helped, and welcome supporters to visit our programs when possible to see their impact firsthand.
